Alan Emery

James Alan Emery, age 57, of Asheboro, died Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Randolph Hospital, Asheboro.Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 2:00 PM at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Robert E. Dowling officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park.Mr. Emery was a native of Randolph County and a 1969 graduate of Seagrove High School. He was formerly employed with Causey Aviation at Asheboro Airport and was a member of Seagrove United Methodist Church. Alan enjoyed astronomy and assisted with astronomy viewings at the Jamestown Campus of GTCC. He is survived by his parents, James E. and Marie Emery of Asheboro, NC.The family will receive friends on Friday, November 28, 2008 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC.
