Agnes P Holt

Agnes Poole Holt, age 94, of Troy died Saturday, October 27, 2018 at her home. Mrs. Holt was born April 12, 1924 in Montgomery County to the late Calvin Lilly Poole and the late Missoura Leach Poole. Agnes was a longtime member of Trinity United Methodist Church. She was known to always be thinking of others, sending cards to the sick as well as sending birthday wishes. During her adult life, she was employed in food service, where she worked at Burger Shack, Dairy Bar, Carolina Fried Chicken and Standard Drug. She enjoyed life and watching sports.

She is survived by one daughter: Barbara Yarboro of Troy, NC and one son: Richard Holt, Jr. of Troy, NC; one grandson: Bryan Yarboro; two great-grandchildren: Tyler Yarboro and Abbie Yarboro. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard G. Holt, Sr.

A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, October 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Southside Cemetery, S Main St, Troy with Rev. Vanlene Nelson officiating. Burial will follow.
