Martha Agnes Thompson Boling, age 92, died Sunday, October 27, 2019 at Clapp's Convalescent Nursing Home in Asheboro.
Mrs. Boling was born December 17, 1926 in Wadesboro, NC, the daughter of Claude and Affie Rorie Thompson. She made Myrtle Beach, SC her home with her late husband, W.D. Boling for over 53 years. Mrs. Boling attended First Baptist Church in Myrtle Beach. She loved volunteering and was active in Associated Charity for over 30 years. Most of all, she was very devoted to her family and enjoyed sharing her love through cooking for them.
She is survived by her daughters, Toni Burnett and her husband James and Beverly Goldner and her husband William, all of Key West, FL, and son, Charles Boling of Asheboro, NC; Grandchildren, Josey Thoreson and Eliot Goldner; Great Grandchildren, Grace and Jackson Goldner, and Harper Thoreson; sisters, Becky Cheek and her husband Edward of Coleridge, NC and Ruby Councilman and her husband Vernon of Asheboro.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 1, 2019 from 1:00-2:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will follow at 2:00 PM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Joey Miller officiating. Entombment will follow at Randolph Memorial Park in Asheboro.
