Adele Marie Webb

Adele Marie Webb, age 81, of Troy died Monday, April 16, 2018 at her home.

Mrs. Webb was born June 27, 1936 in Baltimore MD, the daughter of the late Saverio LePore and the late Margaret Pasche LePore.

She was formerly employed by local Food Stores in Maryland for over 30 years.

She is survived by one daughter: Robin Sowards and husband, Bruce of Troy, NC and two sons: Matthew Humphreys and wife, Karen of Troy, NC and Jeffrey Humphreys and wife Mary Ann of Abingdon, MD; the father of her children, LeRoy Humphreys; step-children: Jackie Radford and husband Arnold of Baltimore, MD, Debbie Hambuch, Baltimore MD, Kathy Sowards and husband William, of Mt. Gilead, NC, and John Webb,and wife Terri, Baltimore MD; seven grandchildren; nine step-grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; seventeen step great grandchildren; one sister, Carolyn Beach and husband Arthur of MD; one brother Robert LePore and wife, Rita of PA.

She was pre-deceased by her husband, John C. Webb, daughter Anita Hohman and brothers, Eugene LePore, Jerry LePore, and Joseph LePore; grandson, Brandon Humphreys, and step granddaughter, Kelly Holt.

Adele was a beloved mother and grandmother, and a very giving person. She enjoyed cooking, going to the beach and crocheting. Adele had an immense love for children.  Babysitting was a talent in which she flourished.  She was responsible for starting a Food Bank at her church, Troy Wesleyan Church.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, April 19, 2018 from 12:30 pm to 1:45 pm at Troy Wesleyan Church, 842 Ophir Ave., Troy, NC. A funeral service will follow at 2:00 pm, with the Rev. Daniel Shuskey and the Rev. James Brewer officiating.
