Ada Frances Hill Mize, age 84, of Denton passed away on October 13, 2012.
Frances was retired from the textile industry and was a member of Greater Vision Baptist Church.
She was born twice and died once!
Her earthly life began on January 1, 1928, the daughter of Causey Jones Hill and Amelia Frances Overton (Hill). Her spiritual life began in February, 2010. She is a daughter of almighty God-a joint heir with Jesus Christ having trusted in the shed blood of the Lord Jesus. She has defeated death, (the last enemy). For on the day of her new birth, that very moment, she became a new creature in Christ Jesus. Old things have passed away, behold all things have become new. She has everlasting life.
Her fervent and sincere desire is not only her family would come to a saving knowledge of the truth found only in the gospel of the Lord Jesus, but also everyone reading this little death and life notice. The Lord Jesus, the very Son of God came down from heaven willingly dying for our sins according to the scriptures, was buried according to the scriptures and that he arose again the third day according to the scriptures. Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him. Truly the bible says that precious in the sight of the Lord is the death of his saints. Behold, I show you a mystery, we shall not all sleep, but we shall all be changed. In a moment, in the twinkling of an eye, at the last trump: for the trumpet shall sound, and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed, for this corruptible must put on in corruption, and this mortal must put on immortality, that shall be brought to pass the saying that is written, Death is swallowed up in victory. O death where is thy sting? O grave where is thy victory? The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law. But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. Therefore my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmovable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, for as much as ye know that your labour is not in vain in our Lord.
And death and hell were cast into the lake of fire. This is the second death. And whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
That's why I sing Thank God I am saved, saved, saved from this world of sin. I'm washed in the blood of Jesus. I've been born again...
