Thelma Ennis Neal, age 94, of Sophia died Friday, September 16, 2016 at her home. Mrs. Neal was born February 25, 1922 the daughter of Robert and Rebecca Ennis. Thelma was a native of Guilford County and retired from Commonwealth Hosiery in Randleman. She was a member of Fayetteville Street Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, Thelma is preceded in death by her husband James Howard Neal and six siblings. She is survived by her daughter: Judy Arnold and her husband Robert of Allen, TX; son: Darrell Neal of Sophia; grandson, Dwayne Neal of Tulsa, OK., and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, September 21, 2016 from 9:30 - 10:30 am at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A graveside service will follow at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Chaplain Tim Pheagin officiating The family would like to give a special “Thanks” to each of the caregivers that took such special care of mom and for their love and compassion: Jean Buie, Darla Sue McDowell, Jean Cassada, Peggy Tilley, Mary Shaler, Louise Parrish, Michelle Craver and Debbie Cox. Pugh Funeral Home is serving the Neal family.
