Mary Ellen Brown

Mary Ellen Herrin Brown, age 88, of Randleman died Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Lexington Medical Center. Mrs. Brown was born September 1, 1928 in Chattanooga, TN the daughter of Lloyd and Mattie Herrin. Mary attended Randleman High School, class of 1943 where she lettered in basketball. She worked at Laughlin Hosiery Mill in Randleman for 20 years and retired from Jockey Hosiery Mill. Mary loved her family and music and enjoyed bowling. In addition to her parents Mary is preceded in death by her Husband, Howard Brown, brothers, Bill and Bob Herrin. She is survived by her daughter: Carolyn Brown of the home; son: Terry Brown and his wife, Shirley of Asheboro; grandchildren: Michelle Adams, Landon and Cynthia Brown, Misty and Jason Clodfelter and Lauren and Rodolfo Hernandez; great grandchildren: Joshua Willard, Olivia Adams, Jayda, Bryson, and McKenna Clodfelter, Seirra Brown and Kyle Hernandez and special friend our "Toby Keith". The family will receive friends Sunday, September 11, 2016 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A graveside service will be held Monday, September 12, 2016 at 11:00 am at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Billy Britt officiating.
