Jeanette Pankey Leach, age 62, of Randleman passed away Friday, May 10, 2019 at her home.
Jeanette was born October 11, 1956 in Randolph County, the daughter of Paul Pankey, Jr., and Anna Oniel Pruitt Pankey. She was retired from Prestige Fabricators, Inc (Klaussner) and enjoyed being outside with her pets. Jeanette loved working in her flower gardens, fishing, and going to the beach. She loved cooking and experimenting with new recipes and watching shows about the Appalachian area and its rich history.
In addition to her parents, Jeanette was preceded in death by her brother: James Howard Pankey and half-brother: Jerry Winfred Pruitt.
She is survived by one daughter: Shannon Cottrell; one son: David (fiancée, Brandy Chaffin) Cottrell; grandchildren: Meradeth S. Helton, Madilyn A. Cottrell, Joshua P. Everson, Nathaniel "Bubba" Everson, Natalie R. Cottrell, Megan R. Cottrell and Victoria G. Cottrell all of Randleman; sister: Barbara Pankey Miller; nephew: Nicholas Miller; niece: Carol Hineline all of Asheboro; extended family and friends and her fur babies, Abby and Holly.
The family will receive friends Wednesday, May 15, 2019 from 6:00 - 8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, May 16, 2019 at 2:00 pm in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC.
Burial will follow at Country Holiness Cemetery, Randleman.
