Colvin Henry Chriscoe

Colvin Henry Chriscoe, age 84, of Seagrove died Thursday, May 8, 2014 at his home. The 3rd of 13 close, fun, loving brothers and sisters, Colvin (aka Calhoun) was born at the family home place on September 22, 1929 to Clyde Lewis and Ometa Cagle Chriscoe. Colvin served his country in the US Army and was employed as a residential home builder for over 30 years. In addition to his parents, Colvin was preceded in death by his previous wife Yvonne, son Richard, sisters Velma Grant, Juanita Luther and brothers Maurice, Clyde, Jr., Graham and Herbert Chriscoe. He is survived by his sons, Kevin Chriscoe of Seagrove, Roger Chriscoe and wife Kathy of Asheboro, Keith Chriscoe and wife Julia of Asheboro; grandchildren, Chad Chriscoe, Tyler Chriscoe, Kori Chriscoe, Kaci Chriscoe and Brian Chriscoe; brothers, Bernice Chriscoe of Seagrove, Gilbert Chriscoe of Robbins, Bradley Chriscoe of Seagrove; and sisters, Edna Tillman of Hampton, VA , Marie Chriscoe of Asheboro and Judy Rice of Greensboro. A memorial will be held Saturday May 31, 2014, 12 o'clock, at the old Chriscoe home place. Family and friends are invited to the pot luck lunch at the old Chriscoe home place.
