Christopher Thomas Jordan

Christopher Thomas Jordan, formerly of Randleman, passed away Friday, Nov. 22, 2019, in Odenton, Md.

Thomas, 21, was born April 9, 1998, in Asheboro, N.C., to Christopher Robert Jordan and Karen Chriscoe Ostwald.

Thomas was a member of St. Joseph`s Catholic Church, where he often served as hospitality assistant, until he moved to Rota, Spain. He graduated from David G. Farragut High School in June 2016.

Thomas enlisted in the U.S. Navy in November 2017, served until his death and earned the rank of Petty Officer 2nd Class. He was an avid fisherman and enjoyed outdoor activities. He loved his family and friends and was the adored eldest brother to six younger siblings. He had a passion for helping others and will be remembered for his kind and generous heart.

He is survived by father and step-mother, Chris and Billy-Jo Jordan; mother and step-father, Karen and Gunnar Ostwald; and siblings, Jacob, Landon, William, Adyson, Riley and Lucas.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Semper Fi Fund to assist other military families and veterans.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, Dec. 14, at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends at St. Joseph`s Catholic Church from noon-1 p.m.

Interment will be held at a later date in the Arlington National Cemetery.
