Christine Jones

Christine Skinner Jones, age 81, of Randleman died Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at Randolph Hospice House, Asheboro. Mrs. Jones was born June 15, 1935 the daughter of Nathan and Pauline Skinner. Christine was a native of Kinston and retired from New Salem Grocery in Randleman. Heaven gained a new angel January 25, 2017. She was an amazing mother, nana and great grandmother. Christine was a woman who once you met her you never forgot her. She was loved and will be missed by many. In addition to her parents Christine is preceded in death by her Husband, James William Jones, Sr., daughter, Deborah Jones, brothers, Oscar and Charles Skinner. She is survived by her daughter: Barbara Miller of Randleman; ; son: James W. Jones, Jr of Asheboro; sister: Joanne Ellen of Randleman; ; brothers: Allen Skinner of Franklinville, Nathan Skinner of Franklinville and Otis Skinner of Randleman; grandchildren: Martin Brock of Raleigh, Barbie Trogdon of Franklinville, Brittany Wampler of Asheboro, Stormy Jones of Franklinville, and McKenzie Jones of Asheboro; great grandchildren: Keegan, Titus and Asher Tracy, Noah Trogdon and Jancen Wampler; step-daughter, Diane Mitchell of Selma, NC. The family will receive friends Saturday, January 28, 2017 from 12:30 -1:30 at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 S. Main St., Randleman, NC 27317.A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Liberty Road Baptist Church Cemetery, 2179 WOW Rd., Randleman, NC with Mike Moody officiating.
