Armenta Lucas Hedgecock

Armenta Lucas Hedgecock, age 78, Randleman died Tuesday, February 10, 2015. Mrs. Hedgecock was born March 16, 1936 the daughter of Walter and Minnie Davis Lucas. Armenta was a long-time resident of Randolph County and was a custodian with Randleman High School and Randolph Community College. She enjoyed meeting with her friends for breakfast every morning at the Randleman Cafe. In addition to her parents, Armenta is preceded in death by her husband Clarence Hedgecock, son Michael Hedgecock and 9 siblings. She is survived by her daughter: Angela Osborne and her fiancé Mark Kennedy of Sophia; daughter-in-law, Donna Hedgecock of Randleman; grandchildren: Coty Hedgecock and his fiancé Jennifer Luders of Redwood City, Ca., Lucretia Hedgecock and her boyfriend Sean Deam of Raeford, NC, Kayla Nicole Hedgecock of Randleman, Emily Osborne of Sophia; sisters: Mary Wheeler and her husband Bill of Narrows, VA, Lorraine Beckner of Morrow, GA., Beverly Young and her husband Ronnie of Riner, VA, and Lillian Overstreet and her husband Price of Salem, VA; brothers: Jerry Lucas and his wife Bonnie of Blacksburg, VA, Gary Lucas and his wife Drema of Show Low, AZ., Donnie Lucas and his wife Vickie of Christiansburg, VA; several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday, February 14, 2015 from 12:00-1:45 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. A graveside service will follow at 2:00 pm at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Pastor Joe L. Farlow officiating. Memorials may be made to Hospice Of Randolph, P.O.
