Obituary of William Caudle

William Dane Caudle, age 64, passed away suddenly on Saturday, November 18, 2017 at his home.

Mr. Caudle was born February 26, 1953 at the Griffin Clinic in Asheboro, the son of Glyn W. and Jo Reece Caudle. Dane was a kind, gentle soul, who always greeted you with a smile. He was an avid outdoorsman who especially loved fishing and hunting. Dane attended Eastern Randolph Senior High, graduating in 1971. He was a lifelong member of Bethany United Methodist Church. Dane will be greatly missed by his family and friends. In addition to his parents, Dane is preceded in death by his wife, Paula Hogan Caudle.

He is survived by his siblings: Gary Caudle, Sr. (Vicki), Scott Caudle (Anne), and Beth Caudle Comfort (Mark); nephews and nieces: Gary Caudle, Jr. (Charity), Jeremy Caudle (Buffy), Jessi Caudle Burns (Mike), Layne Comfort, Anna Caudle (fiancé Brandon Suits), and Michael Comfort; great nephews and nieces: Lauren Caudle, Katie Caudle, Zane Caudle, Ruby Caudle, Nora Burns, Holden Burns, Davis Burns, Quincy Caudle, Macky Burns and Judith Burns; in-laws: Arnold and Nancy Hogan; special friend Alice Gnida and family.

The family will receive friends Tuesday, November 21, 2017 from 6:00-8:00 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 600 South Main Street, Randleman, NC. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, November 22, 2017 at 11:00 am at Bethany United Methodist Church, 3650 Bethany Church Road, Franklinville with Rev. Pat Dixon officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
