Charlie LaPrade

On Wednesday, June 7, 2017 Alexander Charles "Charlie" LaPrade, surrounded by family, friends and his care team passed away peacefully in his mother's arms. Charlie was born May 23, 2017 to Al and Lynn LaPrade. He was preceded in death by his aunt, Kimberlee McCurry. In addition to his parents Charlie is survived by his maternal grandmother, Joyce Fleming of Asheboro; maternal grandparents, Steve and Donna Connor of Shelby; paternal grandparents, Chuck and Ann LaPrade of Asheboro; great grandmother, Claris Vaughn of Asheboro; aunt and uncle, Allison and Lance Gaither of Pittsboro. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 11, 2017 from 1:00 - 2:30 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro and in the church fellowship hall following the memorial service. A memorial service will be Sunday at 3:00 PM at St. John's Lutheran Church, 505 S. Park St., Asheboro with Rev. Doug Hefner officiating.
