Beverly Roberson

Beverly Clarke Roberson, 78, of Asheboro, passed away Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Moses Cone Hospital. Mrs. Roberson was born on August 14, 1938 in Baltimore, MD to Joseph and Emma Clarke. She was one of ten children. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Roberson was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Carlis Thomas Roberson, Sr., son, Carlis T. Roberson, Jr., sisters, Betty Clarke, Patricia Archer, brothers, Joseph Clarke, James Clarke and Deretha Keefer. She is survived by her children, Joseph (Nellie) of Lusby, MD, Kimberly (Ronald) of Charlotte, NC and Andrew (Elaine) of Asheboro, NC; 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren; sisters, Barbara Kearns, Joanne Overgard, Bonnie Windsor and brother, Charlie Clarke. A graveside service will be held Monday, March 27, 2017 at 1:00 pm at Randolph Memorial Park, 4538 US Hwy 220 Bus. North, Asheboro with Rev. Jim Butcher officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Randolph County, P.O. Box 9, Asheboro, NC 27204-0009. Pugh Funeral Home in Asheboro is serving the family.
