Eva Lou Hughes

Eva Lou Hughes, age 73, Asheboro died Sunday, March 19, 2017 at Woodland Hill Care & Rehabilitation, Asheboro. Mrs. Hughes was born December 25, 1943 in Montgomery, AL; she married William Harold Hughes on March 19, 1960. Eva retired from Randolph Hospital after twenty six years of service. She was predeceased by a son, Wayne Hughes and sister Barbara Kraus. She is survived by her husband of 57 years: William Harold Hughes, two daughters: Sandra Isaacs of Seagrove, NC and Ann Beasley of Asheboro, NC, four sisters: Betty Eisenhart, Helen Feather, Wanda Feather, Ruth Davis, three brothers: Homer Allred, Raymond Allred and Daniel Allred, granddaughter, Nicole Ewing; and two great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 22, 2017 from 6 - 8 PM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC. The funeral will be Thursday at 11:00 at Pugh Funeral Home Chapel, with Rev Johnny Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in Randolph Memorial Park, Asheboro.
