Ronald Eugene Cagle

Ronald Eugene Cagle, age 67, of Seagrove passed away on Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital. Mr. Cagle was born in Randolph County on March 7, 1949 to Clarence and Betty Hill Cagle. He was a 1968 graduate of Seagrove High School and was formerly employed with Acme-McCrary Corporation in the shipping department. In addition to his parents, Ronald was preceded in death by his brother, Johnny Cagle and brother-in-law, Charles Davis. Ronald was a loving uncle and brother. He enjoyed all sports and was an avid golfer. He is survived by his sisters, Phyllis Davis of Seagrove, Janice Pugh and husband Bobby of Randleman; nieces, Courtney Davis and fiancée Mark Walker, Crystal Davis McDowell and husband: Darren; nephews, Robby Pugh and girlfriend Carla Angelotti; great niece, Addie McDowell; great nephew, David McDowell; uncles, Fred Hill of Asheboro, Donald Ray Cagle of Seagrove; aunt: Joyce Brown of Asheboro; and several cousins and friends. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 from 6:00-7:15 pm at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. A memorial service will follow on Wednesday at 7:30 pm at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Garry L. Reeder officiating.
