Bernice Hardison Allred

Bernice Harper Hardison Allred, age 97, of Randleman died Friday, January 13, 2017 at her home after a long period of declining health. Mrs. Allred was born June 23, 1919 in Wilson, NC the daughter of Cleve and Mary Hardison. Bernice was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother who always placed her family above everything in her life. We loved her dearly and will miss her as long as we live. In addition to her parents, Bernice is preceded in death by her husband of 33 years, Robert (Bob) Allred, brothers; Grover, Jim and Bickett Hardison; half-sister; Mary Gray Owens. She is survived by her daughters: Anna Talley (Bud) of the home and Roberta Cloutier (Dennis), Forest Grove, Or.; half-brothers; Glenn Hardison (Nina), Crossville, Tn. and Ronnie Hardison of Smithfield, NC; grandchildren: Robert Talley (Carolee) of Jamestown, Andrea Hickman (Brett) of Port Orchard, Wa., and Thomas Cloutier (Jessica) of New Castle Wa.; great grandchildren: Jillian and Mitchell Talley both of Jamestown, Blake and Harper Hickman both of Port Orchard Wa. The family would like to express its deepest appreciation to all the staff at Hospice of Randolph and Hospice House for the care that Bernice received during her period of declining health. We would also like to thank all the private caregivers who provided so much loving care for her during this time, with a very special thank you to Ms. Bonnie Martin. Bonnie, I don't know what we would have done without you during this long and difficult time in Bernice's life. The family will hold at private service at a later date.
