Mary Keller Kirkman

Mary Keller Kirkman, age 90, of Asheboro died Saturday, December 31, 2016 at Randolph Hospice House in Asheboro. Mrs. Kirkman was born August 20, 1926 in Chatham County, the daughter of Leonard and Lillie Keller. She was retired from Acme McCrary Hosiery Mill in Asheboro and was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil "Hamp" Kirkman. She is survived by daughter, Pam Haywood and her husband Dudley of Mt. Gilead, Grandson, Dustin Haywood of Troy; One great grandchild, Two Step Grandchildren, and 7 Step Great Grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 3, 2017 from 10:00-11:00 AM at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro, NC and other times at the home of Helen Haywood, 1071 Chips Rd., Mt. Gilead, NC 27306. The funeral will follow at 11:00 AM in the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steven Jarman and Rev. Charles Trout officiating. Burial will be in Randolph Memorial Park.
