Nettie Arlene Richardson

Nettie Arlene Allred Richardson, age 84, of Asheboro passed away on Monday, December 5, 2016 at the Randolph Hospice House. Mrs. Richardson was born in Franklinville on May 9, 1932 to Lacy and Lucy Childress Allred. She enjoyed visiting Huldah Baptist Church with Ralph. In addition to her parents, Nettie was preceded in death by her brother, her sister, and 2 great grandchildren. Nettie enjoyed shopping, gardening, her chickens and fishing. She loved to eat with her friends at Biscuitville every day. Nettie was a huge Elvis fan and loved to travel to Graceland. She loved flying her NC rebel flag. She is survived by her children, Sheila Richardson Myrick and husband Grady of Asheboro, Howard Ray Richardson of Asheboro and Wanda Richardson Dawson and husband Raymond of Asheboro; 7 grandchildren; 8 great grandchildren; sister: Ruby C. Chandler of Asheboro; and her beloved dog, Trouble. The family will receive friends on Thursday, December 8, 2016 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Pugh Funeral Home, 437 Sunset Avenue, Asheboro. A memorial service will be held on Friday, December 9, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Pugh Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Brian Faircloth officiating.
