Adelaide Lila Hubbard

Adelaide Lila Hubbard, 81, of Asheboro died peacefully at Universal Healthcare in Ramseur on Sunday, August 21, 2016. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, September 17, 2016, at Spoons Chapel Christian Church in Asheboro. Visitation will follow the service at the church. She was born in Bay Shore, NY, on December 6, 1934. She was preceded in death by parents, Charles and Adelaide Hubbard of Long Island, NY and her brother Charles Hubbard also of Long Island, NY. She is survived by her children: Barbara Miller of Asheboro, NC; Edward Engroff of Iowa; Susan Kersey and husband Robert and Susan's children Melissa and Ryan Petersmann all of Laramie, WY; James Engroff of Cheyenne, WY; David and Lisa Engroff and their son Robert, of Sanford, FL; William Engroff of Asheboro, NC; and Lisa Engroff of Asheboro, NC. She is also survived by her two sisters; Ruth Hulse, of Louisiana; and Barbara McCauley and husband Ronald of Idaho. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to NC Zoo Society, 4403 Zoo Parkway, Asheboro, NC 27205 Pugh Funeral Home, Asheboro, is serving the family.
