Mary Frances Ledbetter

Mary Frances Ledbetter, age 88, of Albemarle, formerly of Troy, died Wednesday, August 10, 2016 at Stanly Manor, Albemarle. Mary Frances was born December 6, 1927 in Troy, NC, the daughter of John Edward, Sr. and Stella Estelle Kelly Ledbetter. She was a member of First Wesleyan Church of Troy where she taught Sunday School for several years. She was formerly employed at Belk’s and later retired with 30+ years from B C Moore. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by brothers: infant brother Horace Ledbetter, John Ed Ledbetter, Jr., Don “Doodle” Ledbetter, infant brother Toonsie; sisters: Katherine Suggs and Lizzie Lemons. She is survived by nieces and nephews. There will be no visitation. A graveside service will be Friday, August 12, 2016 at 1:00 P.M. at First Wesleyan Church Cemetery, 1368 NC Highway 134 North, Troy with Dr. Edward Lindsey officiating.
