Mrs. Gibson was born January 9, 1920, the daughter of Alexander M. and Lela M. (Green) Dixon. Mrs. Gibson was a native of Randolph County. Annie graduated from the Bennett High School was a home maker and a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd Gibson. She is survived by a daughter: Diane G. Presnell of Franklinville, NC, 3 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren. The family will receive friends Tuesday November 17, 2009 from 6 to 8 pm at Smith & Buckner Funeral Home, Siler City, NC. The funeral will be 2:00 PM Wednesday November 18, 2009 at the Brush Creek Baptist Church, Bear Creek with Rev. Jeff Smith officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
